EVENTIDE RECEIVES $9,788 GRANT FROM DAKOTA MEDICAL FOUNDATION - 11/05/2007
Moorhead, Minnesota: Eventide has received a grant in the amount of $9,788 from Dakota Medical Foundation to purchase bladder scanners for its bladder management program. The goal of the program is to utilize the scanners to assist in decreasing urinary incontinence and urinary tract infections and help lower the potential for resident falls and pressure ulcers. This will ultimately improve overall resident quality of life. Eventide is a community-based, nonprofit organization that promotes quality of life for seniors and their families by providing individualized services in a variety of settings. Program services include skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Currently, Eventide serves over 550 individuals on its three F-M campuses. Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo, ND focuses its efforts on improving health and access to medical and dental care in the region, with a special emphasis on children. Since 1996, the Foundation has invested nearly $30 million to over 280 nonprofit organizations in the region. For more information, see www.dakmed.org.
