Memory Care

Our Memory Care Communities serve residents who are facing memory loss but still want to remain active and involved, not requiring comprehensive 24-hour skilled nursing care. Licensed as assisted living, our communities remain residential and family-like but also offer other services and amenities unique to the particular needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s and related dementia.

We are committed to helping each resident live life to the fullest by engaging residents in ability-centered activities and programming throughout the day. Our memory care staff is specially trained to meet the unique needs of residents with dementia.

Eventide’s memory care units are designed to provide a secure, home-like environment in which each resident can live at their utmost potential. We understand that each resident has individual needs and preferences. That's why we meet with residents and family and conduct an assessment prior to move-in to understand the need for assistance and support in the following areas:

Personal hygiene and grooming
Dressing and clothes selection
Medication management
Continence management
Assistance with eating
Showering or bathing
Socialization and activities
Mobility and transferring
Monitoring of safety

This assessment helps determine the appropriate care and service that preserves each resident's dignity and encourages independence.
