Whether you are looking to learn new skills, make
new friends, have more fun, or make a difference in someone else’s
life, we would love to have you on our team of volunteers.
Our volunteer program started in 1951 when a group of neighborhood
women began to do haircare for the residents. That small
group has grown to include over 250 volunteers, from age 8 to
97, who are sharing their time and talents to enhance the lives
of the people Eventide serves.
Eventide volunteers are retired, employed, raising children,
in school and represent all walks of life. Volunteer commitments
range from weekly to every other week, monthly or as needed. Just
let us know how you would like to be involved.
Volunteer opportunities are available for youth who can volunteer
independently at age 11, and we have a Summer youth program called
the Eventide Junior Volunteer All-Stars. Children under 11 can
volunteer with a parent or adult.
